Terms of Service
Last updated: 15 June 2026
Welcome to SafariEA. These Terms govern your use of safariea.com and our services. By booking a tour or creating an account, you agree to these Terms.
1. What SafariEA is
SafariEA is an online marketplace that connects travellers with independent, verified tour operators across Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi. The tours and experiences are owned and operated by these third-party operators; SafariEA facilitates discovery, booking and payment.
2. Bookings & payments
- Prices are shown per person in USD, with an approximate local-currency equivalent for reference.
- A booking is confirmed once payment is received and you receive a confirmation.
- SafariEA collects payment and remits the operator their share after deducting a platform commission.
- You are responsible for providing accurate traveller details, valid travel documents, and any required visas or vaccinations.
3. Operators
Operators listed as "Verified" have submitted business documentation reviewed by our team. Verification is not an endorsement or a guarantee of any particular outcome. Each operator is responsible for delivering its own tours, including guides, accommodation, transport and safety.
4. Cancellations & refunds
Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
5. Acceptable use
- Do not use the platform for fraud, fake listings, or to circumvent the booking and payment process.
- Do not attempt to access accounts, data, or systems you are not authorised to access.
6. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SafariEA is not liable for the acts, omissions, injuries, losses or damages arising from the conduct of operators or third parties, or from events beyond our reasonable control. Travel involves inherent risks; we strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance.
7. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
